The Objective:
Create a classic look for White Rock Distilleries’ Irish Cream Liquor as a gift item for the Holidays.

Marketing Strategy:
Package the product in a creative container or with a gift tin to increase sales during Holiday season.

Creative Execution:
Because of the product being on the same shelf as the tried and true Irish Cream products, I decided to approach the design by applying some of Ireland’s old world charm. The senquence shows you the many concepts that we presented to the client. The client was also creating diferent names for the product. Our team finally came up the with the winning name, Ryan's Cream.

Creating a new bottle shape was crucial to gift status, researching classic bottle shapes, I chose a decanter shape and added an debossed Irish symbol which added a wonderful dimensional quality. Then when the name was settled on, I Art Directed a water color artist to render rolling hills, stone walls and castle windows. To add to the old world look, I hired a calligrapher to create the product’s name in beautiful stressed type. Applying the watercolor and calligraphy to a custom shape tin and label completing the gift package.

Result:
Increased sales beyond the client’s expectations. Final holiday packaging increased sales by 125%. The product is still being sold today.
